I found a lump in my left breast while putting on my bra that snaps in the front. I don’t think I would of found this if it wasn’t for the placement of it being so close to the edge of my breast and close to the snap. I also would feel a tingling sensation in the area every now and then, sometimes it would itch a little.

My first surgery was on September 22, 2005 where I had a lump in my breast removed. I got the call on September 26th that is was cancerous. My second re-excision surgery was on October 5th.

I did six weeks of radiation starting on October 26, 2005. What a whirlwind those months were!

Gemma's Memorial PageViews: 874

Just starting to roll out some of the memorial pages. Kevin our programmer has set up Gemma’s page already. Please revisit Gemma’s blog and light a candle for her and post a message. Gemma’s Memorial Page I should soon have access to turn this on for others. Please let me know if there are others that need to have the memorial setting turned on. I think I know everyone who has passed but would hate to forget anyone. We are also creating a page that will just highlight all our friends who have gone before us. We will make sure we never forget all our friends who have fought this battle. We will make sure we never forget those we lost to the horrible disease.

Thanks Jill,

Love ya.

What a wonderful way to remember our loved ones that have been taken by cancer, I would love to have a memorial page for Wes, jill. Please let me know what I need to do.
You are such a blessing!

Dear Jill; Angel that you are, I clicked on one of the candles, I am assuming somehow there will be a button at the top of the home page for our fallen heroes. This is just a great thing to do. Perhaps the blog of the fallen person could be moved to that place so when you click on it, you could read the whole person’s blog from the beginning. As new members join they won’t have known for example Gemma, or Wes. Not sure if you can do that but it would be nice. Thanks for all that you do.

Hi Jill; I found a lit a candle for Wes. However, the only way I found Gemma’s was through your post. Will there be a separate button on the home page for our fallen heroes? I know I wrote you before, but that would also be great if the blog for that person could be moved there as well so that anyone who wanted to review it could do so very easily after lighting the candle. Just a thought. Not sure if it can be done.
